(4-4-4-4 Method)
Breathe in
 for 4 seconds, 
hold for 4, 
exhale for 4, 
hold for 4. 
Repeat.

Grounding
Name 5 things
you can see, 
4 you can touch, 
3 you hear, 
2 you smell, 
1 you taste.

Good for everything
Feel the air
on your skin. 
Feel your feet on the earth.
Notice one natural thing (a tree, clouds, the sun, etc.).
Take five slow breaths while focusing on the sounds around you.

Panic Buster
Hold an ice cube
in your hand and focus on the sensation. The cold can help interrupt a panic cycle and bring your attention back to the present. It’s hard to freak out when you are focused on the cold.
